Tulips.......

My neighbors to the northwest have a variety of tulip that blooms first.  It is in a protected area also and gets full sun by mid day. I was surprised to see them in bloom, then I looked at mine and they are not too far behind them.

It is amazing how the stems and buds shoot up overnight. We are very cold with freezing rain yesterday afternoon. I suppose mine will be blooming in the middle of next week.
