I was glad that the voles did not make it into the area of the iris. I hope the cold last night did not touch this last night. Unfortunately the extreme cold did take out a hosta a couple of feet away from here. They neighbor guy put that fence in last year at this time as he remarked about the white iris while I was talking to him. I didn't realize he was putting the nails in an uneven row. No wonder the last board that he nailed on keeps falling away.

Hybrid White.....
