Monday's Mystery....
An antique brick that I collected from a old farmstead. I liked that it had four divisions in its design. I have a lot of ideas as to why it was made this way including it could have been used as a foundation brick of a porch to allow air circulation under the porch. I guess it could have been used as a chimney flue but I think that is a weak idea.

How interesting! I like that brick. I hope the glad bulbs I sent will eventually bloom for you - they were here when we moved in. Ours have not yet bloomed either.
Using as plant pot is a good idea too and I see more bricks like this in construction these days.
