Old Rose.....Travels.

I could not leave this historic rose at the old place. It spreads easily so I was able to get a start of it easily. After a couple of years in the new yard it is  making itself at home. My memories of it at the old place was it first grew on the north side of the summer kitchen.  There had been a door on that side of the kitchen originally so it was planted on both sides of the door. The door was gone when I bought the place in 1976. It had spread all those years the whole length of the kitchen.  When I built a studio /frame shop on top of it the end piece was still intact.. It has moved all along the west side ot the old kitchen now. It has moved some of its roots into a 17 year old building development.

Beautiful rose !
I love your garden and the dove.
Every winter a couple of doves comes and eat just behind the kitchen window.
Have a nice Sunday, Larry !
