Russian Sage...

 

It grows will nilly in my peony bed.  The prvious owner planted it there. It comes up as a sprig here and there and does not come up as a cluster. I like the smell of it and I can bring it inside where is stays good like a dried flower.

It looks like lavender but it isn't. We see a lot of them in the country, especially in the flower beds of the cities.
