Toys collect in an cupboard from three different generations. My plastic farm animals were mine in the early 1950s. The barn is long gone but the animals seemed to survive in the toy box for years. There was a variety of poses in the cows and horses and they came in brown or white plastic. The rooster has a whole family of hens and baby chicks which I don't have any of them. Small horse were in the set and I do have one of them. Toy iron is seen in the back that was my moms from the 1920s. My boys had the Sesame Street characters and red tractor. My own car collection of my younger adult years is there. The license plate is from my birth year of 1950. I see a bowling pin from the ear of my wife's old farm house attic. The coffee can is from another family long gone from southern Iowa .I think the can is filled with plastic soldiers.
Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.

These look like a treasure to connect with sweet old memories. I too used to save toys from our younger days but the kids – cousins, and nephews – who came later played and broke away as well. haha. I still have some little cars which I don’t believe would survive longer as any kid visit us only pick up those cars.
