I thought it was a stick or a dead leaf onto of the flower. I looked twice and found this unusual insect. I usually find smaller ones but this guy is a big one.

First of all, thank you Larry for your compliments on my crochet work.
I have already photographed, only once, a praying mantis. It is not a very Catholic animal since after copulation it eats the male.
