The angelfish are not such angels. The fish is from the cichlid fish species and can be quit aggressive. I had three of them and two of them turned on this one. When I removed this fish from that tank it had a third of its tail eaten away. It has lived with a bunch of guppies for a few weeks now and its tail has now grown back.
