There was a female cardinal out there too but she just woundn't stick around. They like my special cardinal food with safflower seeds and sunflower seeds. Most cases they just grab and seed and go to a tree to open it up.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
