It is 3° F. and the snow has stopped falling. The wind makes great patterns on the deck as it helped form these drifts.
A second photo shares the view of the birds scampering for fallen seeds from the feeder that sits above them.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
