Spring Flowering Trees....

 

The development required the homeowners to plant flowering pear trees.  They are ornamental and no pears will be developed.  An apple shaped small fruit does develop which certain birds do love to eat. It the oldest part of the development there is a main street that is lined fully, from top to bottom of the street.  I have just two in my front yard.

 

 I have heard neighbors tell me that I don't keep my trees trimmed up correctly.  People at the old place who were not authorities on the subject wanted evertyhing to look like lollipop trees. I probably will eventually trim these sprouts off as the get too big but for now they are a great way to see up close the blooms on this tree.  I have two of the trees and neighbors on both sides of me gave flimsy excuses as to why they had cut theirs down.
