Our American Robin is actually in the thrush family. She has stopped going to the nest. I never saw her fledglings and question if she had any. I found one dead bird but never saw it in the nest. If it fell out it must have crawled a distance before it died. This robin just watched me while I was in the yard. She or he still looks for things to eat in the grass but I don't see anyone taking food to the nest anymore. Maybe she will nest again in the same nest.
