The male has a black neck band with red on it. I seem to only have females. The females are great but I am surprised there isn't at least one male in the batch. There are two younger hummingbirds that still hover in the air and won't land on the stand. I think they are still too small to reach if they landed on the wire rail.

I see that is how one identifies male or female by looking at the neck.
