I have a small tree to add to the arrangement but it hasn't made it upstairs yet. My brothers and I had these same size of sleds on the farm when I was a kid. We had a great hill that would allow you to slide down fast and end up on a cow trail area. My dad liked to tell the story of my two older brothers, age 8 and 9 at the time, putting their two your old brother on one and sending him down the hill by himself. Dwight was not old enough to control it. If you heard of stories of my older brothers it wasn't surprising to do it without thinking as they were always into to thins.
Our sleds were all in bad shape and I know dad threw them away when he moved off the farm. When he moved to different houses in town they would show up in garage attics. I brought them home when I closed down my parents place. I moved them to the new house and finally got them restored.

There are memories that mark us and when we can materialize them with what made our childhood, it's even better.
