Eating Out During a Blizzard....

The house finch was a lone one getting to eat all that he wanted. My neighbors said they had seen house finches but I had not until this morning.

An extra photo today showing that it really does like the sunflower seeds.  I know they like millet but when there are sunflower seeds they dig for them.  My path that I scooped out yesterday on the deck to get to the feeders is all filled in from our second blizzard. I will have to wade I think this time as there is just too much snow to shovel right now.

These house finches are a constant visitor to our feeders which are filled with sunflower seeds.

We are having high winds here in WV today and I am sure that the birds that frequent our feeders are happy that my husband and you make those treks out to the feeders to keep them filled. Hope you stay warm
