From on High.....
The seashell is from the top of the mountain called Mt. Arbel in Israel. It is 594' above sea level. The area is in the lower Galilee part of Israel and it overlooks the Sea of Galilee. I was sitting on a rock in seclusion from the others in our tour group and I looked down to see it laying there in some roughed up soil next to a large rock. I know some things about the land there and I know that all the water underground is saltwater. It shows how the area has been has been affected by the Mediterranean Sea on its coastline. My imagination makes me think that someone did venture up and bury something in the soil up there on the rocky cliff. The shell could have been brought in from soil of down below. I could see people burying cremains up there. Did I mention that on this mountain Jesus announced the Great Commission with the disciples?
