I haven't seen mourning doves at my feeder for a long time. They didn't come as a pair and this could be one looking for a mate.

Aren't they just so interesting to watch. My husband puts out corn, especially with the Mourning Doves in mind. Of course, the Blue Jays enjoy it too, but we just love watching the Mourning Doves!
I love this bird, more beautiful than ours.
A couple of doves come everyday for eating in the birdfeeder near my kitchen window.
