Trees and Mills.....
A shot taken in southern Iowa of the winter landscape. The windmills are the modern additions of windmills to a once prairie landscape. Farmers scrape out areas of farmland among the trees. The area is between to small Iowa towns Orient and Macksburg, Iowa. Near the edge of town of Macksbuirg is a Moon Cemetery where I have great grandparents buried as well as my grandparents Brown. Great Uncles and Aunts are there too as well as one first cousin. The southern Iowa landscape is all rolling hills just like where I was raised on a farm down there near Murray, Iowa.
