The European Starling clings to the stair rail, wishing I could put out some more food. It is too big to eat at the hanging tube feeder and yet it wants to hang around the smell of the seed.
The grackles have green heads. I have a hard time mixing up the two birds. The top bird could also be a grackle. I was reading that some people just call them black birds.
