Chipmunk.....

 Is it a chipmunk or a ground squirrel? My new neighbor wants to call it a ground squirrel and is trying to trap them.  My neighbor to the north likes to also trap and kill them.  I have all the loose seeds that fall to the ground to keep them alive until they are captured. I have always called them chipmunks which remind me of the ones I have seen in Minnesota for years.
