Lilacs were a true standard at most farmsteads in Iowa. People would share the starts. Some would plant them in a row as a wind break. At my old residence, I brought lilacs down from Minnesota which were a different color than the ones I already had. I have none on my new place but if we stand on our stairway and look up the way two properties over is a weeping willow tree, and also this lilac. We can't smell them from here.
Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.
