The spent phlox stems and leaves show a welcome of color under all that white coating. By spring I will need to get them trimmed back ready for the new green. Spring seems a long time away and yet it is coming.

Late bloomers.......phlox.
The late bloomers are still enjoyed even though the main plants have bloomed and have been gone weeks ago.

Visiting Grackle
