My new birdhouse with the ash tree in the background. I didn't remember that the ash tree didn't lose it leaves during the winter, but it does seem to drop seeds and leaves all summer into the fishpond below.

The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
