Succulents and a stray straw. I planted these into the ground and they are loving the heat and humidity. The rains are keeping the two plants happy also.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

I am a fan of sedums too.
The camera produced a lovely sheen on the sedums. It's a favourite of mine for groundcover.
