Dink's Taxi.......

A restaurant in Bar Harbor, Maine.  It is a real car and the building sits at the back of the alley.  It possibly was never a church but was a building created to look like one.  Then again, it could have been a church but I don't understand how it got built in by stores on all sides. We didn't have time to eat there but maybe another year. They are real stained glass windows and the fancy brackets are real.

Unusual, I am sure there are some good stories about this place. i presume it is a taxi up on the balcony, and that it belonged to 'Jinks'. Does look like a church too.

If that doesn't get the attention of the customers, nothing will!

Nice picture, makes me want to explore further. Sadly I didn't get to see all of Bar Harbor! I do remember seeing a yellow cab on a Times Square building.

What a wonderful building it looks. I love idiosyncratic places like that.
