Fall is here with all the cold winds and leaves are blowing everywhere. Angel boy continues to sit it out in the backyard watching, waiting and thinking.

The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Ahh...yes...surrounded by leaves and soon it will be snow! He's lovely, too, standing watch in your yard!
I've visited a few blogs today who have had their first snow. We have had heavy rain all day and the leaves are down all over the drive. We really needed the rain though. I love your angel statue.
It only seems five minutes since he was covered in the white stuff. Time flies too fast for my liking. I love the new header picture.
