Peony and Tulips....
The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Love the blue gate in the first picture. As a whole the photograph is a very scenic arrangement. I'm still waiting for my honeysuckle to flower.
Our honeysuckle won't be seen for another month. I love the blue gate. It works so well with the green plants. Whoever came up with the saying "Blue and green should never be seen except on an Irish colleen" got it so wrong!

My dad had a boarder of honeysuckle in our yard where i grew up....I forgot what time of year they bloomed. Your photos brought back that memory for me. Thanks! : )
