The first of my spirea is blooming now. I have a lot of bushes that I assume were here for many years. They seem to be a part of the past of this 108 year old house. When you take a macro of the shrub the flowers look larger than one would expect.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
