It is invasive and yet very beautiful. It was planted around my house when I bought it and it can be seen around other older homes in town. I am sure it was a shared plant that took over the areas around foundations.

Interesting to read about the bluebells.
Bluebells have had a good year in the UK, they line the country lanes. There's been an abundance in my garden too.
I have escaped this one so far, my mother has some in her yard..those seeds are tiny and go all over. It is very pretty:)
