I looked up at the wall of the garage down south and there hung this old saw. Maybe I can donate to a museum as I won't donate it to the landfill.
I believe the mechanism at the top probably has been added to replace and older means of tightening the blade.

My husband has a few old pieces in his workshop like this, they make for perfect conversation pieces.
