One bloom at a time.......

For some reason, this clematis is putting out one bloom every few days.  I suppose it is the rain that slows it down and the temperatures are not that warm.  The top photo is bloom number two and a week ago I posted above bloom number one.

It's a very beautiful bloom, Larry.

We had a white clematis at the old house that did the same thing. The blooms were as big as a dinner plate!

With blooms that beautiful, maybe the plant only has enough energy for one at a time. ;)

It is lovely! How long do the blooms last for..perhaps it needs a little bloom booster..I have never used it..but I read that some people think it is a great product:)

Very pretty white clematis, Larry. All mine are blue. A year I planted together a blue one and a pink one, The year after one was died. I bought another one in thinking the pink one was died but it was the blue one. So, I planted another blue one. Grrrr !
