I guess this variety of flag iris needs to be moved to a more sunny location. It has been against this fence a couple of years and last year bloomed many flowers.

The shed is a perfect background for the flag. I love it. The picture definitely deserves to be framed.
Very pretty iris. This past week, some daylilies that the previous owner of our home planted bloomed next to our fence. They are bright yellow and seem to be healthy. An unexpected surprise!
You may have to divide its tubers...it is a gorgeous flower.
My very profuse irises of several years back have dwindled down to one this year.
