Side Porch View.........

I was surprised to see the shadows and the great pattern that it made.  The sun was bright and it washed out the color a little.  I am sure glad it is blooming so well.

That's a lovely clematis and the shadows cast are terrific. Blessings to you both this coming week.

My clematis is just now blooming too...though I think my favorite childhood flower is the passion flower. A neighbor had a fence covered in them and they reminded me of a sea anemome.

You have a good eye for an interesting picture. The purple flowers are lovely.

I never cease to be amazed at the colors, fragrances, patterns and textures of flowers. There is a rose garden at the University where I walk every day and I can smell the lovely fragrance as I draw near. Great pic, Larry!

The Capitol.....

A shot through a large window creates an unusual yet usual effect. The Iowa State Capital has new gold leaf on its dome.
