The old silver maple tries it's best to give us some shade but it it not helping out very much. Maybe a rain shower or two will help to cool it down a little.

Peony and Tulips....
The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Beautiful tree. Yesterday was really hot (106) and humid here also.
