I really like the sculptural form of this flower and also the texture and color is so great.
I had taken the flower shot from the back side and when I approached it from the front I was surprised to find this bumble bee in nectar heaven.

I LOVE your photos.
First, I didn't know there were white Hollyhocks. Second, I see what you mean about texture, photographs really bring that out.
Look at that bee..they get almost intoxicated by the nectar:)
