we will never forget the when, the why and the who of the tragic events of that day. As the names continue to be read of all those who lost their lives, my heart goes out to all those families who abruptly lost their loved ones.

Indeed! I was teaching then when a secretary called me to suggest turning on the TV in my room. I was trying to reassure my students that terrible accidents can occur when the second plane hit and changed everything....
Such loss, such destruction. I am not sure that I will ever understand what drives people to such senseless actions, such an abrogation of humanity.
Beautiful photo and tribute to honor the heroes of that day, and remember the precious lives that were lost, and pray for the families who lost their loved ones.
