Snow be gone..........

Our temperatures were record setting highs today in the 60's.  It was like a magical spell as the snow just vanished while I was inside at school.  I didn't have to scoop my walk because I waited long enough that it looks like I had done it.

The above photo was one that I took for a photo contest.  I eliminated it as a third of it was brown and the theme was "white."

Hi Larry, We are having the same unusually warm weather here in Michigan. I enjoy your photos...I try to catch up on them every few days. Della's blog is nice too! You have inspired me to perhaps start a photo blog! Your blog with photos of ordinary (but special) things makes me think I just might be able to do this! Now I have a "card-making" blog but think I need to branch out. Tell me, is it a huge time commitment? Are you glad you committed to it? Any advice about getting started?
Thanks, in advance!
Sandie

Snow be gone... is right. Our snow is just about all gone.

I need to visit more often, you have some very interesting pictures. I love the Cactus photo, they are so pretty when they finally bloom. I loved the bucket work of art... it made me smile. What is junk to one person, is another's 'work of art.' My husband use to buy those galvanized oval shaped buckets. They were paint buckets, he is a painter, and do you know they can no longer be found. He is very protective of the couple he still has.

I know you are glad to have some warmer temps despite not having enough of the white stuff for a pic!

Big and Small...

The miniature daffodils are so petite compared to the normal sized daffodil. I don't think I have ever brought the small ones inside be...
