As the tulip starts to fall from it's stem, it changes colors and becomes misshapen. The colors are turning into a nice faded pattern. It is time for the bulb to get nourishment and revive for next year.

I always feel sad when flowers start to die, thank you for pointing out the beauty they still have and will have at a future date.
