The old fashioned iris continues to bloom. It is lasting a lot longer than the newer hybrids. The various patterns helped give this iris the name of Bumblebee.

I see now that I posted a similar one to this about a week ago. I guess that this one is more abstract than the other.
Sometimes I think the older varieties are prettier than the new hybrids. I love the designs on this blossom.
Very nice. I am always in awe of the intricacy of each flower's design.
