Sunday's Rose of the Day...........

A great rose with something eating on it's leaves.  I don't  have spray but maybe I can wash up the leaves with some soapy water.  I will trim it way back once the bloom fades and falls. The blue globe sits right next to this plant and makes a classy background.

It's a lovely rose. What is the blue behind it ... foliage perhaps? I've heard that soapy water is quite effective in getting rid of unwanted insects and caterpillars.
