The container isn't billowing full of petunias but this is a nice close view of one that is blooming on our cool Sunday afternoon with 70 degrees F.

Crowded.....
The tulip was up first but the peony is now spreading out and shoving the tulip around a bit.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Not only mother's favorite color of flower but she loved the scent of petunias! Thanks for the sweet memory of her today.
