We have cooler temperatures at night and the planters are starting to revive with heavy watering and the less hours in severe heat. Our days have been cooler but the past two days were hot again. It has been such a yo yo of a summer.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

I see a link here to your cigar box post which reminds me...the other day we went for pizza and there was a cigar store right next door. Out on the sidewalk they had a big box of cigar boxes for $2 each. We thought of your cigar boxes when we saw that.
