I have not seen but a handful of butterflies this year. I hope that we can get enough vegetation going again to bring in the monarch butterfly migration. This zinnia patch is the only thing blooming that will draw any insects.

Very few butterflies and hummers here this summer.
Pretty zinnia photo!
I noticed one yesterday flying here and there. But, I don't think it was a monarch, it had the coloring, but not the pattern spots of the monarch. Nice capture of your butterfly.
