I pulled the entire patch and two of the plants were still blooming. They were late bloomers but it was time to get them out of the ground.
They didn't last very long in the house but I got a good shot of them in the kitchen window.

It's good that you gave them a bit extra life. They're very pretty even if they did only last a day longer.
Last blooms are always just a bit sad, but always lovely.. particularly in that pretty blue vase.
Very pretty photo in the window. We have a handfull of roses left on the bush. Always sad to see them go.
