Rose hips are an interesting feature of the rose's blooming cycle each season. This rose has small white flowers on it but the rose hips are still pretty much the size of a regular rose.

Tall and Short....
At four in the morning and one is walking the empty hallways, one never knows what the camera might shoot.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
