Spring Routines.........
As soon as the New England bluebells are done blooming the ferns will then fill in the whole area of the bed. It is an old bed of ferns that I did not plant. They have been there every year since I moved in the year 1976. They have spread some but otherwise they continue to do their job along the foundation of the house.

Peony and Tulips....
The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Very pretty. We don't have any ferns growing in the woods here but I did find some sweet shrub.
