This guy was out calling his territorial sound making sure all the other males knew that he was the controller of this block. It does sound like spring when I hear the cardinal call but we are just now above freezing.

Sorry it's so cold there, Larry! We are having beautiful spring weather here. But, the down-side is the intense heat we will have in a couple of months while you are all enjoying the last of spring!
