Wild Violas.....
I was surprised to see these out in bloom among the peony bed. These violets are called different names but I always called them violets. They have become very thick in number along my property line where it is shady. I have to mow them down by early summer. They are light blue right now but most of my others will be violet or variegated white and violet.

I love to see these flowers growing in paving cracks. They are very hardy, they don't even mind if I accidentally tread on them.
Wild and beautiful. And they do spread.....:)
Beautiful flowers and nice in color.
Beautiful! I have a whole flower patch of these just breaking through the ground!
Looking back at this post my flowers look a little punky. I will have better ones as it is too early for them anyway.
