This daylily has its frist bloom spreading open revealing the yellow glow. This is the first daylily that blooms in my gardens but there are others that are ready to bloom within the week.
I really have never noticed this before but each stalk has one bloom open on the end of each stalk. Good rains have made this plant be very prolific with more stems than last year.

The colours, orange and yellow, blend so well.
