As the season of summer comes to a close the flowers loose their beauty to a different beauty. The dead seed heads of flowers have the same form but the arrangement of individual petals change. I don't think I have ever had this bright orange zinnia bloom before this year and it is quite stunning in its brilliant pure color.
Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.

My wife’s cake looks so good. Me being a double diabetic it looks like a good way for me to pass out from extreme high blood sugar count.

What a gorgeous color of orange. Our red cone flower plant sure turned sad looking. Almost time to cut down the Mex. petunias, too.
Will you be saving seeds from the zinnia?
I think beauty lies in the way we look at it... so the flower is beautiful at its various stages and we need to check it out. Nice capture
The young one looks good!
